Holmes High School’s 2025 Homecoming Parade is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m. Come out and support the Bulldogs as we celebrate 200 years of public education in Covington.

The Bulldog football team will host Jackson County at 7:30 at Tom Ellis Stadium. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime. Go Bulldogs!

Attention HMS Students & Parents,
Holmes Middle School will have a new start time for the 2025-2026 school year. Our new start time will be 7:40 AM until 2:40 PM! Start setting your alarms to prepare yourself for the new time. We will see you bright and early at 7:40 AM beginning the first day of school on August 25th.


The first day of school for 2025-2026 is Monday, August 25, for grades K-12. James E. Biggs Preschool students start school on Tuesday, September 2. Enjoy your summer!
